August Already?

Sorry, the new month slipped in on me while I was writing. I just completed the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers NovelRama event where we had to write 25,000 words in four days. That's a nice start to a new book. Where are we now (summary): 1. I've finished Milk Run and got some excellent feedback from the beta readers. I'll be fixing that up and sending off to the editor in a few days. 2. I've got 25,000 words on To Fire Called. I'll get back to that as soon as I get Milk Run off … [Read more...]

Audible Update

We've been expecting to see Full Share hit the pre-order queue at Audible around the middle of the month. I just checked in with their new author liaison and learned that the release will be delayed by a month while they re-work the cover art to fit the audio market better. Look for Full Share on pre-order around August 4th and for release on August 13th. I'm just the messenger. … [Read more...]

Exile

ETA:This anthology was a limited time deal. The deal expired in May. The book is no longer available. In Ashes Born

The new book is out! Yay! It's only on Amazon! BOO! Yeah. Unfortunately, I've had to take a hard look at my business and I just can't afford not to be in Amazon Select any more. I totaled up the sales on all the other platforms combined and it amounted to just under 6%. Even paperbacks have generated more revenue than that. I started re-evaluating the market and came to the realization that I just don't know what's going on. I need more data. So, I pulled the books in the middle of … [Read more...]

South Coast

Back when this all started in 2007, I wrote four novels. The first three "Share" books and for NaNoWriMo a bonus novel -- South Coast. It's taken me the better part of two weeks to get it cleaned up. That's after having an editor work it over. It went live on Nook, Kobo, and KDP over the last couple of days. Enjoy. … [Read more...]
