Trader’s Tales: The Boardgame

Shayne Pruyne contacted me some time ago about the possibility of making a board game based on the Trader’s Tales. I’ve had lots of poeple ask, but – so far – Shayne’s the only one with a working prototype.

If you’d like to play test it, he has the game up on GameBoardGeek: http://boardgamegeek.com/article/19942703#19942703

And if you try it? Let me know how it works for you.

Thanks, Shayne. This looks hella cool.

  1. I have bought all six and wondered what happened after ‘Owners Share’. I felt really left ‘in the air at the end and I rather presumptuously wondered if there was going to be a “Corporate Share” to follow?

Capt Wang’s career is only getting started!!

    1. I’m working on Revelation: The Seeker’s Tales: Book 1 now. It’ll be a couple/three months before it’s out but Ishmael will be in the building again.

And yes, he’s bringing Pip this time.

And yes, eventually I hope to do the podcast version.

  2. I’m glad things are moving along with seekers tales. I have several friends that are eagerly awaiting the release and hopefully the audio version of them and the other couple books that haven’t been released via audio. My friends and I love everything you have released and every one of us have listened to them several times. I’m about to start South Coast again. Any word on the Cape Grace?

  3. Not sure where to post name suggestions for the next book. But I’d go with “Solar Clipper Chronicles, Volume 1”. The Share series can be the lead up like the Hobbit. I think Chronicles has a nice ring to it, harkening back to classic SciFi – Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles. And I’ve always loved the subtitle best — Golden Age of the Solar Clipper. Can’t wait to read the next book about Ishmael and to listen to you read it with my son, who loved the series on an end of summer road trip we took. Made the miles dissapear.
