Yes, I’m early on this but I want you all to know how thankful I am right now.
1. I’m cancer free. I’m really thankful that this wasn’t a death sentence and that we caught it early enough that – even with the delays in treatment – I’ll probably survive both the disease and the treatment.
2. I’m eating more/different foods. I really wanted to eat Thanksgiving dinner. It’s looking like I’ll get my wish.
3. While I’m still very weak with almost no fat and very little muscle mass, I’m thankful that I’m still mobile enough that I can rebuild both of those characteristics to a healthy level.
4. Not least, I’m thankful for each of you. Your kind wishes and unflagging support have meant the world.
So, thanks. You’re all much appreciated.
Good news. I hope that the T-day feast will help put some weight on.
We appreciate YOU! Your stories are the BEST and I love your writing style. So much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Many wishes for your good health and continuing recovery. Looking forward to the next Ishmael stories!
Fair winds and following seas, Cap’n.
So glad to know things are better.
We are so thankful you are continuing to improve! You are a favorite author and we are sooo looking forward to continued improvement in your health, mind ( radiation and chemo cause such an awful brain fog) and emotions ( as you regain your zest and energy for life) . Know you are loved and only best wishes and support are sent to you
That’s a fabulous attitude to have! I hope you were indeed able to have a wonderful Thanksgiving feast with your family. Wishing nothing but the best for you Sar!
