Day 2273: The KU Trap

A little about the progress in my linux conversion. I think I finally have a configuration that I’m happy with. Mostly I talked about some noise in the self-pub community about how Kindle Unlimited is a trap and the sky could fall any minute now.

And why I think that’s all it is. Noise.

    Podcast?

    Sorry about that.

It appeared fine in the edit screen but – foolish me – I didn’t think to check the actual post.

    Works fine now.
Also, I love KU. Lets me read many books I’d never want to actually own but aren’t in my local library. Of course, I purchase all your books. 🙂 KU is definitely a great value for me. I hope it doesn’t go away but if it does… oh well. Nothing last forever. 🙂

Well, KU *is* a trap, for those who don’t keep a master copy of their books in an editable format. If you hired someone else to format it and upload it, and didn’t get a copy from them of the masters, then if/when KU goes kablooey – happy typing from your Author’s Copy!

People who get trapped by this stuff do it to themselves.
