re: Cat’s POV. It’s funny you mentioned having a cat as a POV character because it reminds me of a LitRPG book titled A Cat and His Human by Michael Atamatov. It’s kind of an Isekai story. The main character starts off as a human and his consciousness moves to his house cat because of . The story then continues and alternates POVs. The human body which apparently continues on as normal, and also from the cat. Maybe the cat’s consciousness got swapped into the human, but it’s been a while since I read the book, I really don’t remember.
Dumb question. Are you running apache on the server?
Okay, I listened more closely and see that you do have a web server and WordPress is installed. And it sounds like you see the text, so it isn’t .htaccess.
So just ignore my question. I’ve only ever done static html on my personal server and don’t know WordPress, so no help here.
Richard Adams of Watership Down fame wrote a novel with a horse’s POV called Traveler, it is the story of Robert E. Lee’s war horse Traveler, and his stories of life during the US Civil War. Traveler encounters other famous horses from the war and interacts with them, and his tale ends with Lee’s funeral. Traveler has an animal’s brain and thinks that the South won the Civil War, based on his treatment by soldiers and others during that period. It might be an interesting read and provide some advice on writing an animal POV character.
