Interesting that you had some good sleep – – beneficial by-product of caffeine withdrawal, do you think?
Many of my Facebook acquaintances play either World of Warships or World of Tanks. Author Larry Correia plays World of Tanks.
I’ve been looking at videos of Red Wing Heritage boots on YouTube – – Iron Rangers are supposed to be the be-all and end-all of American work boots. They’re good looking, but the Blacksmith model is even more so. Truth be told, I’d like my old Navy boondockers back – – but the Navy stopped issuing them, so they aren’t made any more, so far as I know. Do you have an opinion on Timberland boots? I’m looking closely at the Timberland Premium 6-inch waterproof boots – – the famous yellow ones. I like the fact that they lace all the way up instead of using hooks at the top. Don’t know about the yellow color, either – – good thing they come in black, also.

I don’t have an opinion on Timberline. I know Red Wing from my youth in Maine and while the Bean Boots reign supreme up there.
I looked at the other boots, but two problems. 1) They didn’t have my size and 2) they didn’t have vibram soles. The concrete sidewalks just chew the heck out of everything.
