After a few days of dancing to the music others have been playing, I’m back to digging around in my own music box. Terrible metaphor, although music has been a background theme for my brain over the last few days while I sat in hospital waiting rooms and dental offices.
This morning was a recap of all the stuff.

Re: dehydration cramping. This tends to be a recurring problem for me, and is affected by food choices. If I eat foods for supper that are dry and absorb more moisture than they provide, I can become dehydrated during the sleeping hours. Bread products will do this, but particularly rice dishes will do this. When this happens I have to drink copious amounts of water to counteract the cramping – – typically a pint at at time; drink a pint, lay down, if cramping persists, another pint, until cramping stops. It’s sort of surprising how quickly the effect of drinking water in these amounts works, but the cramping will stop with nothing more needed than water, although perhaps Gatorade-type drinks would be more effective. I haven’t experimented with those.
Some good advice here. Thanks.
