We’re slowly solving the calorie/protein problem.
Feeding myself enough is proving to be a challenge but my food logs are helping sort it out. I was losing weight (a no-no) but I discovered that I was only getting about 3/4 of the calories I needed and half the protein.
Turns out fried chicken – while perhaps problematic on some fronts – addresses both of those problems.
Now I just need to figure out how to eat enough of it.

We’re pulling for you.
One thing that really helped my Dad was pasta salads. Could change up the flavor with dressings, mayo or miracle whip and of course add tuna for a protein boost. Ensure complete’s were always a winner too when the appetite wasn’t there.
Thanks! I’ll check it out. It might just be the answer I need, too.
Rice and ground beef might also do, as that can also be flavored a few ways.
