Summertime Blues

Ain’t no cure.

I wondered why everybody was commenting on the St. Patty’s Day post and then realized … um.

Yeah. Sorry about that.

The derpression maybe worse than the depression (not really). I’ve no excuse other than “What? It’s June? When did that happen?”

(Answer: “About two weeks ago. Where have you been?”)

So, I’m off to the library to write about Sarah Krugg. Wish me luck.

Things I’m working on:
1. Finishing Cape Grace
2. Starting the first Seeker’s Tale
3. Walking more (Trying to break 1000 episodes on the TOMMW podcast this month).
4. No more digging the hole that depression has me in. I’m trying to _fill it in_ instead.

St. Patty

We’re getting there!

I’ve not got a great deal to report this month. I’m still working on Cape Grace and I believe it’s coming together. I’m almost 20k into it and should finish the first draft by the end of the month.

I’m feeling slightly better – physically and mentally – and I’m hoping to get back on a schedule that I can maintain soon. I get a little closer each day

I’m still planning on narrating the last two Tanyth books. I still have three new Ishmael and three non-Ishmael solar clipper books on my board.

That’s all I got for now!

Valentine’s Update

Yeah, I know it was a couple of days ago. I’m running a little late.

Things are finally moving forward after the great time I had at COSine in Colorado Springs at the end of January.

All the Share books and all the Tanyth Fairport books are now available in paperback. It was a long slog and I only just finished them before COSine. One task down and the new one’s just beginning.

I’m about 10k words into Cape Grace. Some of you will be cheering for the long promised sequel so South Coast while others will be cursing me for not writing the book you want.

My next book after Cape Grace will be the first of the new Ishmael Wang books. Don’t expect it before late spring or early summer. There’s a long road between now and then and I need to traverse it carefully.

Healthwise, I have up days and down days. We’re getting a handle on the down and working to have more up. Like most lives, mine is still a work in progress. I’m grateful for all of you who share it with me.
